Priest: Fr. Tom Woodle
In addition to serving as Priest at The Well by The Sea, Fr. Tom is also a retired professor of Religion and Administrator at Coastal Carolina University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religion, a Master’s in Religion, a Master’s in Community Education and Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Prior to becoming an Anglican Priest in 2000, Tom spent eight years as a professional guitarist in Nashville and 20 years as a college administrator and Psychology professor.
He is married to Jackie, who plays bass guitar with the band. Together, they have a blended family with seven grown children and 11 grandchildren. His favorite quote: “The Church has tried to do to Jesus what the past governor of California tried to do to the Redwood Forests; and that is, take something wild and wonderful, and turn it into den furniture.”
