The purpose of this ministry: to offer a home-cooked meal to any individual or family during a time of stress or crisis, such as hospitalization (including childbirth!), death in the family, or homebound/incapacitated for any reason. Our meals are prepared with prayer and love.
This ministry works hand in glove with the ministry of Pastoral Care. Through their ministry of visitation, they identify those individuals/families by notifying those involved with the Christ’s Kitchen ministry. Team members are then contacted and a schedule is set up for preparing/delivering meals as needed.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
