Adult Sunday School

The spiritual life of  a Christian depends on a  thorough knowledge of  God’s Word; and this is the mission of the Adult Sunday School class at the Well.  The class meets Sundays at 9:00 a.m., beginning in the fall  and running through spring.  Studies include either specific books of the Bible or otherwise prayerfully selected Biblical topics.

In the words of theologian Howard Hendricks…”God wants to communicate with you…He wrote His message in a book.  He asks you to come and study that book for three compelling reasons:  It’s essential for growth.  It’s essential for maturity.  It’s essential for equipping you, training you, so that you might be an available clean, sharp instrument in His Hands to accomplish His purposes.”  And, “Bible study is the metal that forges a Christian,” states theologian Charles Spurgeon.

He also wisely said, “A Bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t.”
