WEEKLY MIDDAY SERVICE of HEALING: The weekly Midday Service of Healing has re-resumed. We plan to rely on the Ministration to the Sick service in the Book of Common Prayer and will be letting God lead us in praying for the sick, weak, and broken, including ourselves, in hopeful expectation of God’s response. The service will begin on Tuesdays at 12:15pm at The Chapel by the Sea at 504 North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. We strive to conclude by 1:00pm so that those who may need to return to work can attend on lunch break. Additional or individualized healing prayer available with our healing ministers at other times, just let us know.
THIS FRIDAY: 4th ANNUAL VETERAN’S STANDDOWN will be held at Ralph Johnson VA Center, 3392 Phyllis Blvd (Market Common) on Sept. 22nd, 2017, 8:00am – 2:00pm. Our church will be taking a part in this activity, which provides many services to these homeless veterans. Help is needed from 10am-4pm Thursday, Sept. 21st, and Fri., around 10am-2pm. NEEDED: Drivers for those veterans who need help transporting their gifts back to where they live. Harry DuBose, a veteran himself, is The Well’s contact email@example.com . Please let him know of your interest in helping out!
DIOCESAN WOMEN’S RETREAT: The Diocesan Women’s Retreat will be held on 22-24 September, 2017, at St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center. The Speaker will be Karen Mulder of “Wisdom of the Wounded” an organization dedicated to supporting caregivers and those in need of care during crises. Every woman is a caregiver at every age. Karen gives us many ways to be better caregivers by connecting with God, connecting with our families, and connecting with friends and neighbors. The theme of the retreat will be “CONNECTIONS.”
Scholarship Information: Limited scholarship assistance is available. Contact Mary Kauser (843-814-4035) firstname.lastname@example.org PRIOR to registering. We encourage those in need of scholarship assistance to also seek assistance from their parish rector.
